Effective date: 22 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Spill mobile app ("Spill", "we", "us") handles information. By using Spill you agree to this policy.
Device identifier (anonymous). To run online rooms and apply free‑tier limits, Spill generates a random device ID stored on your device and sent to our game backend. It is not linked to your real identity.
Display name & emoji (optional). If you play online, you may enter a nickname and pick an emoji avatar. You choose these — please don't enter real personal information.
Gameplay data. For online rooms, your in‑round answers/votes are stored temporarily so the game can run and reveal results. Daily Question answers are stored anonymously and shown only as aggregate global percentages.
Purchases (subscriptions). If you subscribe to Spill+, the purchase is processed by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation that you're subscribed — we never see your card or payment details.
Advertising. Spill shows ads via Google AdMob, which may collect device and advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads (see Google's policy). Spill+ subscribers see no ads.
We do not knowingly collect contacts, photos, location, or microphone data.
We don't sell personal data.
Spill is intended for users 13 and older (16+ in some regions). It is not directed at children under 13.
Online room data is short‑lived and cleared as rooms end. Anonymous device IDs and aggregate counts are kept only as long as needed to run the service.
We may update this policy; the "Effective date" above will change.
